The chimpanzees health and wellness is our top priority. Positive Reinforcement Training (PRT) is a tool we can use for many aspects of the chimps lives, including some medical evaluation and treatment. If you follow the blog you may have heard us talk about how Willy B can be a little bit unruly at meal times. Have you ever wondered how we help alleviate the tension?
We are excited to extend an opportunity for you to join in a discussion with our current Health & Behavior Coordinator Anthony Denice and our Behavioral Technician Jenna Skinner to learn how we use PRT to help the chimpanzees at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest.
Please join us on Sunday, January 22nd at 1:00 pm PT for this discussion which will include a live virtual visit in the chimp house.
A small $25 registration fee is required.
Thank you for your $25 registration fee that allows us to provide this opportunity!
You will receive a registration confirmation email that contains the Zoom link. Please check your spam folder if you don't immediately receive an email after registering.
Bring your questions! You can ask questions in advance via the registration form and type additional questions into the chat function on Zoom during the visit.
